I've never had a static problem on the boat so I wouldn't be able
to answer this. Since there's typically LOTS of grounding on board,
heavy DC power, I'd figure it may not be a big problem.
Fiber may address some problems caused by electrical discharge
related to signal, but not equipment.
These are really good questions. Anyone from NAPSOfTheAmericas on
board? IIRC, their facility in Miami is on the waterfront.
