Start with anti-static tile. Then plastic that isn't either pink-poly or metalized mylar should find a home in the nearest trash receptacle. Realize that much of today's fashion trends also goes a long way towards making people walking Van De Graff generators. Encourage 100% cotton clothing by education, including under-wear. Keep the machine room warm enough so that people are not tempted to wear wool or polyester sweaters in there (70-72 degrees).
