RE: DATACENTER: Cooling and Cost Data for Web Hosting Data Centers

If you are referring to Caterpillar 2 MW generators I have designed
paralleled and stand alone systems using this unit. Are there specific
concerns?

Russelectric and ASCO have well built reliable automatic switches.

Once more: The amount of cooling needed in _ANY_ facility is DIRECTLY
related to the power consumption. Any power used is going to given off as
heat. Without knowing the amount of power coming into the space, you
can't accuratly estimate the cooling needed.

As far as size? Again, related to the power feed you have from the
building.

(Side note, has anybody acutally installed and used the CAT 2Meg stuff
yet?? Contact me off list if you have...)

Personally, I like the Zenith stuff. The MX100 control panel is just
plain cool.
