RE: DATACENTER: Info on equipment for temp/humidity supervise in closed racks.
I use a Liebert SiteIntegrator which has a bunch of dry contacts on it and a
place for two humidity/temp sensors. It has an ethernet port on it and is
rack mountable (19"). The sensors can be located pretty far away from the
main unit. I have MRTG monitoring the temp/humidity and it works like a
charm. It was about US$1200. Contact you local Liebert dealer to get one. It
also can handle two power supplies for redundancy.
