DATACENTER: LanPlex Equipment

Hi folks,

I may have some very high-end network hardware available for sale in the near
future.
We are collapsing a large production network into separate segments and
therefore will free up the following network equipment:


2 3com LanPlex 6012 Units.  Each equipped with the following:
  - dual power supplies
  - LMM+ Management module (with very recent software and expanded memory)
  - 2 16-port EFSM Ethernet switch modules (each port support routing,filters)
  - 9 FCM 12-port CDDI modules (FDDI over copper)

In addition, we have approximately 100 Network Peripherals dual-attached
CDDI cards for Sun Sbus systems.  This equipment supports a fully redundant
network configuration such that connectivity among all nodes is retained
even when one entire LanPlex chassis is powered down (the switch times from
primary to secondary are nearly instantaneous).  All of the equipment is
about 2 1/2 years old, many of the Network Peripherals cards and LanPlex
CDDI/Ethernet cards are much newer.

We are thinking of moving this equipment to our development environment.
However, it is overkill for development and would prefer to sell it if it
has significant value in the market.
