Re: Earthlink sinks another level
... I think what ticks me off the most is that they're spending my money,
yes, my money since I'm still unfortunately a shareholder, on this sort of
thing. Every few months I get a nice little mailer telling me how happy I
would be if I joined up with Earthlink. You'd think there would be a
cross-reference or something. I'm waiting for the day when I get an email
to me telling me to sign up for Earthlink. Yes, thank you.
on the good side for me is that LLBNGAMA finally is DSL capable... or will
be by the end of January. bellsouth.net is already signing folks up.
Earthlink isn't quite that aggressive. .net is giving customers free .net
access until DSL kicks in. Again, Earthlink isn't quite that aggressive.
I hope for your sake I'm the only one on this list who is still a
stockholder. *sigh*
In addition to the type of mailings that mjn is getting, we consistenly get
similar-looking mailings from credit cards. Yes, Brian, we URGENTLY need
to inform you that you've been PRE-SELECTED to be charged TWENTY-FIVE
percent APR and a measly $89 annual fee for the high honor of carrying
around our logo in your wallet. Not everyone gets this offer, you know.
I'll bet.
