You people in the United States don't know what you're missing.
The election is close, it's all come down to Florida. Earlier
this morning they called Florida as going to Gore, now it's
gone for Bush. Everyone then called the election for Bush since
he had the electoral votes he needed. Gore called Bush and conceeded
the election to him.

Well, now Gore has called Bush back and retracted the concession
because the margin of victory in Florida is only about 1300 votes,
and there will be a recount there. Of course, there are still 
probably 2000 overseas ballots that won't be counted for another
ten days and several large counties haven't reported in yet.

Looks like Nader was sucessful in hurting Gore, though.

But the fun doesn't stop there. There are follies in the Senate,
too. Hillary was elected to represent New York (snicker) and
Missouri elected a dead man.
