Here are my concerns.  One - I don't trust Bush to properly deal with foreign nations, nevermind pronounce the names of their leaders.  Two - I was OK with the idea of Bush winning, because I figured he'd get capped in the head, and Cheney, a politician with actual experience, would win the crown.  Now.. Cheney was hospitalized with what they were so desperately trying to call "just chest pains", when it was a heart attack, and certainly not his first.  I would prefer a VP who can live for four years.  I find it alarming how quickly that story was dropped.  I view it as a major concern.

Regardless of the outcome, I feel pity for both Bush and Gore.  If Bush wins he'll never win the recognition of being the "People's President", and if Gore wins he'll never win the support of the uppity Christian Supremist groups who run the majority of the Republican Party and those easy-to-forget square states that connect the coasts together.

Regardless - neither of them is really going to be able to get any real work done in the next four years... might as well give the crown to both of them and drop a camera in their office and make it a new television series...

No, while I may be pro bush (i am from texas), I support getting rid
pf the electoral college and putting the president/vp to a popular
vote.  In fact I'm so off the wall that I believe that the #1 person
should be president and the #2 person should be vice president.

At any rate, it's proof that the electoral college worked in my favor
this election, but I still think it should be eliminated.

As for the comment that it's meaningless, I would say check your television
and you'll find a lot more that's meaningless that has people on the
edge of their seats (babewatch not withstanding).
