RE: Does this not concern anyone?

Sure, it concerns me, but are we now going to say that we won't elect
someone to office who has health problems? Geez, open that door and just
watch the flood come through.

Hey, we've had a president who weighed 400 pounds (Taft), a president in a
wheelchair (FDR), a presidents who forget all kinds of stuff in front of
Congress (Ronald Reagan and George Bush), a president who flat-out lied to
the people of this country and wagged his disapproving finger in our face
(Clinton)... Why can't we just get over it?

If he croaks in office, he croaks in office. If he and George W. win the
election, they win the election! He chose to run, and if the stress kills
him, so be it.

http://www.cnn.com/2000/ALLPOLITICS/stories/11/29/cheney.checkup/

"The 59-year-old former congressman, defense secretary
and White House chief had suffered three previous heart
attacks over a period of more than 22 years and underwent
quadruple coronary bypass surgery in 1988."

Somehow.. I doubt that the Secret Service will spend as much effort
defending him. ;)
