I just started working for Bellsouth.net in January, and they made me do a 
pre-employment drug screen after they gave me the job. Basically, they did 
a deep background check (no joke, they sent me the 17 pages of results!) 
and made me pee in a cup. The HR gal I talked to about my job basically 
told me, "Yeah, we're all excited about you coming to work here, but if you 
don't pass the background check and pee test, the deal's off!"

Evidently, Bellsouth does not do random testing after your initial 
pre-employment test. Looking around at the people I work with, I would 
expect that this is actually true (for now).
