How about the days when the internet (or IP) wasn't the only game in town...
Remember...BITNET? and BITFTP@PUCC...? I remember we used to run news on the
VMScluster and the usenet articles were packaged up and sent from our upstream
host at like 56K... Of course, all my FTP files had to wait for the news
to traverse the chain... Oh yeah!!!  THOSE WERE THE DAYS :-)
