Several years ago I bought some graphics software there because I
needed it quickly and they were the only store near me that had it in
stock.

I got home, opened the box, and instead of the CD for the current
version of the software I found floppy disks from an older version -
already registered to someone else. With the manual for that older
version, as well.

I took the software back to exchange for a new copy and they tried to
accuse me of swapping the CD for the diskettes. I pointed out that
they could very easily get hold of the person who did this - he was
stupid enough to give them his name and company name on those
diskettes. They weren't interested. I raised hell very loudly where
lots of other customers could hear me - advising everyone to open all
the boxes before leaving the store to be sure they were getting what
they'd paid for. To shut me up, I suppose, they did the exchange. I
haven't shopped there since.
