What do you do when Sammy Sosa and his buddies comes by? :-)

I usually do not buy extended service contracts. But did buy a maintenance
contract for a washer and dryer I bought from Sears. I believe it was a
good buy. I believe the MA for durable items may be justified. Under the
MA, if I move they will come in and reinstall the packing braces. When In
the new place they will come out again to reinstall them. Plus do any
yearly [2~maintenance during the that time.
I don't do this with the average solid state electronic item like
receivers and such. Because they usually fail within 3 months or less.
Which is normally covered in the maker's warranty.

I agree with you on both counts. Do you have any insights into mandatory
outside package check-ins where you leave your valuables at a counter?
I don't like em because once I forgot I had left something at the counter
and went back the next day and it was gone. I had no proof that I had left
anything there because the receipts were in the bags. I only go into
stores like this when there's something I need and can't get anywhere
else.
