books and rfcs

Hello,

	I need to do some research on IPv6 for one of my classes. I was wondering 
if someone can tell me which are the current RFC/FYI as well as suggest 
some good books (technical, academic, advanced, intermediate, journals, 
etc). It's up to my professor what he will make me do with the knowledge I 
learn it could range from a paper to a program. So I need to be ready for 
almost anything.
