#You will need to do at least the following:
#
# 1) Make sure the portmap, mountd, and nfsd daemons run on
# boot up (look in /etc/rc.d/rc.inet2).
This is the right place to look if you're using a recent edition of Slackware
(and some other distributions), but not necessarily the place. Some setups
do such booting in .../rc.inet, .../rc.local, /etc/rc, &c.
I guess it's assumed that if you're not using Slackware, you at least know
how to translate Slackwareese into your configuration's native tongue, err,
directory structure. :)
