I had to munge my /usr/lib/X11/Xconfig file after running ConfigXF86-- turns out that it puts "Emulate3Buttons" before the line where it defines what mouse I want to use. Moving it down worked for me, you'll probably need to do that, at least. What file does it claim you are missing? -F
