[ale] PPP Problem

I am trying to set up my Linux box as a ppp server for dialup modems.
When my script calls pppd it comes back and says that the kernel doesn't
support ppp. I've compiled ppp support as a module. When i try an insmod
ppp.o this is the output that I get:

Any Ideas?
