[ale] telnet -> telnet under linux.

I've got one of our servers set up so that when you telnet to it on a certain
port, it sends you to another server and gives you a telnet there.  It works
great under most commercial telnet apps for winbloze, but under UNIX, i get
everything echoed back to me.  Is there a seeting that will stop this?
