[ale] Perl HTML::Parse

Hi,
Looks like HTML::Parse has been depricated. But many books I have
still use HTML::Parse examples. So, I went ahead and installed
HTML-Tree-0.50 from CPAN. Now HTML::Parse works. But now I have
several questions:
1) Why was HTML::Parse depricated?
2) Is not "wrong" to use HTML::Parse? (I'm thinking "depricated" just
means it's not recommended anymore, but it won't break or hurt
anything.)
3) When I read examples in books like The Perl Cookbook and Web Client
Programming with Perl that use HTML::Parse, what should I use instead?
TIA!
