[ale] Hello...

I bought the book by Sobell (Practical Guide to Linux). It is worth every
penny.

Additionally, you can download a sys admin textbook from:

http://www.infocom.cqu.edu.au/Study/Units/85321_Systems_Administration//
Study_Material/Text_Book/
(Watch line wrap).

I used chap. 13 of this book to recompile my kernel, along with the
how-to's. For free, this looks like the most complete version I've seen,
and it overlaps alot of the book you have. However, you cannot go wrong
with an O'Reilly book.

You should of course check the Howto's. There is even a reading list
howto. Another site which I just (re)discovered is Unix Guru's Universe.
(I would like to point out that I am not one).

have a nice day, -ty
