[ale] Newbie install question

sigh - how'd That comment slip past my caffiene deprived brain? 
Anywhich, 'Linear' helps old IDE pre LBA drives renavigate the triple
cylinder/head/sector designations. SCSI doesn't fiddle around w/those &
handles sector reads directly... further info at the link mentioned
previously...
