[ale] A newbie fights installing a NE2000 ISA ethernet card

I have an old ISA NE2000 compatible card and I want to make it work on a linux
box. It is installed in IRQ3, but it requires an "IO value (0xNNN)". What is
this IO? How can I obtain this value so I can run my network card?
