by day i'm a mild mannered cad driver on a RS6000 running AIX.
The office i work in has a mix of windows and unix stations. from time to time
they email us information in XLS spread sheets. i found an open source
converter that will convert these to html that i can pull up on netscape.
now for the problem.
the IT guy's have striped our workstations down so that i don't even have
access to a compiler (or anything else that the cad applications do not directly
require). is it possible to lie to my linux box and compile it at home for AIX?

Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of Dos
and danced the skies on Linux silvered wings.
