Finally - a note of sanity.  

Everytime a couple of spams slip in we have a group of folks who
implode.  Their compaints take three times the bandwidth the spam did.

Amazing.

The vast majority of us just delete the mail.  I am sure that the
maintainers of the list are constantly working on realistic and
effective filtering to keep the spam out.

If a couple of spams get some folks upset, I would hate to see them in a
traffic jam...
