[ale] A little gripe

Bored is just how I was feeling about Windows NT c. 1998 at about the time I started working with Linux.  Bored and frustrated, because at the time there was a slight and niggling but showstopping incompatibility with a tape drive for which I really felt I had nowhere to turn for satisfaction.  These days and in Linux-land, I can EMAIL the person who wrote cdrecord to talk about compatibility with a certain kind of CD-R drive...
