[ale] Samba in NT domain

Ok, I am in the process of getting a RH box into a NT domain. I have the
*nix box registered in the domain and now I want the authentication to come
from the domain. I have complied samba 2.2.2 with the --with-pam and
--with-pam_smbpass options. but nothing is looking correct according to the
manual where the smbpasswd file is concerned. Mine is blank. Is that
corret? Does anyone out there have a box running in an nt domain and can
you help with advice as to setting up PAM and winbind??

Any help appreciated.
