[ale] linux m$ access db server solution ?

Would these "tricks" be inherent to Access or would they be something that
might be coded into an Access app?   That is, would an Access/PostgreSQL
client/server arrangement be inherently problematic or is it such that it
could work nearly perfectly if "MS-isms" were deliberately avoided?
