[ale] Kernel-2.4.0 oddness

I've got kernel-2.4.0 up and running, but have been unable to access
www.hushmail.com while running 2.4.0.  I don't event get to the login
page.

However, if I switch back to my previous kernel 2.2.16-22, I can access
hushmail without problems.

Can anyone else running 2.4.0+ help me with this, by possibly trying to
access hushmail.com?

kernel info: 2.4.0, compiled with RedHat's gcc-2.96-69-i386 package.
