[ale] Setting LDAP client on Redhat Linux

I am looking to start setting up some Redhat boxes as LDAP clients of a
IPlanet LDAP server running on a Sun Box.

Can anyone point me to some documentation for this on the Linux -side.

I will probably only be using it for password authentication , just
wondering what existing support there already is for this.
