[ale] Mixer/Recorder

Does anyone out 
there know of a decent mixer/recorder for sounds that support line input.?? 
I wanna do some very basic multi-tracking using either my mic, line, or 
both.?? I have the mixer it seems, but I can't find anything to 
record.?? I am running Mandrake 7.2 w/ KDE 2.0 final (primary - also will 
use Gnome if I must).
