[ale] ReiserFS in Kernel 2.4.1

I'm probably missing something obvious, but I am trying to compile 
kernel 2.4.1 with ReiserFS support. When I get to the "File Systems" 
options on make xconfig, the option for ReiserFS is greyed out, and I 
can't figure out what I need to enable to be able to compile this into 
my kernel. Any ideas what I need to enable to be able to do this?
