[ale] What were they thinking?

Exactly what version of KDE2 are we referring to. I'm using version 2.1 beta 2
on a Celeron 533 w/128MB ram running RedHat 6.2 and XFree86 4.0.2 to support
the built in intel i180 on board video in this Dell box. I wait approxiamately 
2 seconds to start up a konsole or 1 second for an xterm.
