Hi,
I seem to have a problem running my CPAN module. I'm just trying
to get it up and going.
The error is:
[ snip ]
juno /root # perl -MCPAN -e 'install Bundle::libnet'
Please, install Net::FTP as soon as possible. CPAN.pm installs
it for you
if you just type
install Bundle::libnet
[ . . . ] (message repeated numerous times...)
Trying with "/usr/local/bin/lynx -source" to get
ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/mirrors/cpan/authors/01mailrc.txt.gz
CPAN: Compress::Zlib loaded ok
Error reading from
/usr/local/.cpan/sources/authors/01mailrc.txt:
[ snip ]
I am thinking I may have entered the URLs incorrectly when the
CPAN configuration module asked me for my favorite CPAN mirrors.
Could that be the case?
If not, what?
If so, what is the command that configures the CPAN module? I
forget. :-\
Many TIA!
