I have a POS Smart and Friendly 2x2x24 burner that is going on 4 years
old. It was crap to begin with, not even properly ATAPI compliant, and
died 2 months after I bought it, having to be sent back in for a
replacement, but has lasted quite happily since being replaced.
Live and learn, I suppose. Next time, I'll buy SCSI.
