[ale] Sending Adobe to an HP Plotter

I have some large Adobe files (1-4 meg) which do not print from the Microsoft desk top to an HP DesignJet 1050C pen plotter.?? Small files do.

I think I can invoke ghostscript and out put a post script file to the IP address of the plotter.


Does anyone have any experience sending an adobe pdf file to a network plotter when all you know is the IP of the plotter and have a reasonable assurance that the plotter can process post script?

ghostscript filename.pdf (add a few switches...) -----------> 155.102.10.8 


I know I am being simplistic here.
