[ale] Why no shmmin?

I'm running RH7.1 w/ a kernel I compiled myself. When I do a sysctl -a,
there is no kernel.shmmin value. When I look in
/usr/src/linux-2.4/include/asm/shparam.h, there is no definition for shmmin.
Why is this? Do I need to compile something in the kernel to get this? If
so, what do I need to compile in?
