[ale] Best Desktop Env or Distro for Windows users?

I still want someone to convince me you need windows at all.

If the mandate has come down that this is going to happen, they've 
already resolved that this is not the issue.

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
