Yeah, plus you'd have to add extra code something along the lines of:

if (scruples eq yes) {

	print "database is corrupted, found invalid value in \
		field scruples, valid values are [no|NULL|pretends]";
}

I didn't have to buy my radio from a specific company to listen
to FM, why doesn't that apply to the Internet (anymore...)?
