[ale] OT: 2.4 ghz phones and WiFi lans

I have a 900 mhz phone that has terrible range, an I'm considering
upgrading to a 2.4 ghz.  However, I'd also like to upgrade my home lan to
wireless at some point and have read that, because 802.11 and 2.4 ghz
phones operate in the same frequencies they can cause serious issues.

Does anyone out there use 2.4 ghz phones around their wireless network? 
What 's your experience been?  Looking for caveats.
