[ale] dd command and winbloze

ok i figured i would make a couple of 750mb partitions
for os's, considering my os's never get big enough to
exceed that and also i would use the dd command with
the cdrom to back up windoze and linux when i had an
acceptable disk image, how would i want to phrase the
dd command for writeing to a cdr and would i need cdr
drivers to do this? or just reg atapi drivers? thanks
