Somehow, I got the CDROM to burn. I am not sure what exactly made it work.
I added something to the make menuconfig as an experiment, and then did a
"make dep" and specified an append in the grub.conf (as if it was a
lilo.conf) and rebooted the computer.
Anyway, I burned a CD of Gentoo.
I excitedly put the CD into my computer with a blank hard drive.
The machine keeps rebooting over and over.
Next, I put it in another machine. Same thing.
Ironically, I mount the CD and can read it fine.
Should I burn another CD when I can read the one I have?
Anyone else have a similar problem?
