For you... Debian "potato" with "apt-get upgrade" setup in root's crontab.

If you want to find out which distro is the best for security, look to see
who has been the most open and speedy about issuing security updates and
alerts.  Check BugTraq, or the individual distro security email archives.
However, and I can't stress this enough, security is more about the admin
then it is about the OS.
