[ale] OT: video problems

I don't know if their is anyway that I can fix this but it is worth  a try.

I've downloaded an avi video file and when I play it I see a purple haze in
certain frames of the video. My question: Is their way that might be able to
get rid of the purple haze that is in that file. I like a clean picture and
I want to know if I can fix this one.

If you want I send you a frame or two so that you can see what I am talking
about.
