[ale] OT: Dish Network setup

I am thinking about running coax in another room this weekend.  I'm
curious as to how to do this.  I have 3 dish receivers.  each one has a
cable going back to the dish.  I want to move a receiver but I can not
move the coax with it.  I was thinking of splicing into the main
bedrooms cable.  So one feed off the dish will now serve 2 receivers. 
Is this possible? or nothing like old-fashioned cable?
