[ale] Installing OpenOffice on RedHat 7.1

I'm trying to install redhat's openoffice rpms on my 7.1 system.
openoffice-libs 1.0.1 - 8 and openoffice 1.0.1 - 8 rpms have a boatload
of dependencies. Is there any easy way to install this, or do I have to
methodically install all the rpm's listed as dependencies? Some of the
dependencies are glibc and other low level type libraries. Am I going to
hose other applications if I upgrade something like glibc?
