Ethernet channel bonding (was Re: [ale] network problem)

Looks like you're using ethernet channel bonding on the machine with two
nics (i.e., bond0) and this might be part of your problem.  Unfortunately,
I have no experience with channel bonding and can't be of much help.  Is
this something you configured for the nic, or did your distro?
