[ale] gnome-terminal memory leak....looking for verification...

The bugzilla reports

seem to indicate that it is a problem with Xft and certain video cards
in combination.  They also suggest that upgrading to Xft-2.0-4.i386.rpm
and Xft-devel-2.0-4.i386.rpm from ftp://people.redhat.com/hp/testing may
solve the problem in those cases.
