Unfortunately, that won't work.  The 'z' commands (zgrep, zcat, zless,
zmore, ...) only uncompress files that were compressed with zlib, which
is what gzip uses.  Jar files use PKZip compression, an entirely
different scheme.

On the other hand, grep <classname> *.jar works.
