[ale] OT: prefab contracting agreements?

The canned stuff works well when you have a very clearly defined scope of
work and are dealing with an organization or individual that you KNOW to
be ethical and reasonable. If those qualifications are not met, I go to a
lawyer. Usually it costs somewhere in the neighborhood of $150-200 bucks
to have them review it for loopholes that could bite you later. It does
help to have lawyer friends sometimes.
