[ale] RH8.0 Num Lock on Bootup
- Subject: [ale] RH8.0 Num Lock on Bootup

I had exactly the same problem. Someone on this list suggested the
following program and it works like a charm (at least in RH8 it does)
http://ftp.silug.org/pub/ltsp/setnumlock.tar.gz
I compiled it and put it in /usr/bin and then (from the README)
" If you use GDM
Edit the /etc/X11/gdm/Init/Default file.
on some distributions (Debian) it may be /etc/gdm/Init/Default
Add the line
/usr/bin/setnumlock
to the end of the file"
Works perfectly everytime!
